PRIVATE ONE DAY WORKSHOP

Find your strength!

Yoga with Scoliosis workshop is a special one-day workshop designed specifically for anyone living with Scoliosis (lateral curvature of the spine).

​

Living with Scoliosis can be hard as it brings feeling of discomfort from pain and from negative body image due to the mainstream media always portraying the "perfect" body.

​

Yoga helps you to gain back the confidence and acceptance of your body and helps you to feel aligned internally and physically as well. 

​

The workshop includes:

  1. Some general information about the spine and its natural curves 

  2. Information about Scoliosis

  3. Explore & understand your own curve to understand the muscle imbalances

  4. How to adjust in some Yoga postures to help to work against those imbalances.

  5. Some yoga postures intended for pain release and lengthening.

  6. Do’s and don’t of scoliosis

This workshop is not intended to straighten the spine but will help you to find ways to feel comfort and length in your spine. It may also encourage you to start integrating yoga in your day-to-day life to be able to manage the curve.

DEVELOP YOUR HOME PRACTICE PROGRAM - CURRENTLY ON HOLD

Transform your life!

This program is expanded over 3 weeks where we meet once a week for 2 hours.


During the sessions, I help you to better understand your body to be able to manage Scoliosis and adjust not only in Yoga postures but all other activities as well (including the way you sleep!).

You will learn:

  1. Information about Scoliosis

  2. Types of Scoliosis

  3. Common curves pattern

  4. General information about the spine and its natural curves 

  5. Understand your own curve so you can adjust your muscles accordingly

  6. Ways to manage the pain associated with Scoliosis

  7. Yoga exercises to do on daily bases to stop the curve from progressing

  8. Breathing exercises to help in using the full lung capacity

  9. Developing your own practice at home

Yoga helps you to gain back the confidence and acceptance of your body and helps you to feel aligned internally and physically as well.

This program, is not intended to straighten the spine but will help you to find ways to stop the curve from progressing. I can’t promise that it will reverse the curve because at the end of the day, it is up to you to do the daily work and stop any bad patterns but it will definitely make you feel better after understanding what your body needs.


This program requires you to be committed for 21 days of daily Yoga Asanas, which will be provided to you, for at least 10 mins to one hour daily.


After the completion pf this program, you can join my Yoga classes (or any other Yoga classes) with the sense of confidence in knowing exactly how to adjust for your curve to gain the best out of your yoga practice. You will also be able to adjust your posture in your day to day activities to avoid back pain and discomfort.


The program is completed over 3 weeks during which we meet once a week for 1.5 to 2 hours.

The reason it is expanded over 3 weeks is to give you time in between to do the yoga postures on your own, grasp and digest the information you take during the sessions so when the 21 days are over, you will be fully confident in how to manage your curve.

​

This type of program is currently offered in Mena Garden City. It can also be offered online via Zoom.

​

The program full fee is EGP 3,500.


To book your spot, a deposit of 30% of the total fee (i.e EGP1000) through PayPal or bank transfer has to be made.


Full payment is to be made after the 1st session.


If for any reason you do not wish to continue, the deposit is non-refundable after attending the 1st session. If you wish to discontinue, after attending the 2nd session the total fee is non-refundable.
